Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by germs TB (Tuberculosismycrobacterium). Anti-tuberculosis drug is a drug that is a combination of several types of antibiotics for the treatment of tuberculosis or also called tubrculostatika. Commonly used drugs are isoniazid, ethambutol, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, and streptomycin. This study aims to determine the suitability of the use of anti-tuberculosis drugs in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Installations in Hospitals Outpatient Pandan Arang Boyolali 2016. This research is non-experimental. Retrospective data collection and analyzed descriptively. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data obtained were 84 samples that met the inclusion criteria, namely pulmonary tuberculosis patients in the Outpatient Installation period January to December 2016, anti-tuberculosis drug therapy, and without complication. The results showed that the use of anti-tuberculosis drugs has been rational, include precise indication of 100%, 98,8% right drug, right dose of the right of patients 88.10% and 100% for the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. and complies with the National Guidelines for Prevention of tuberculosis from the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia in 2014.
