Abstract
Acute respiratory tract infectious (RESPIRATORY) is a common health disorder and includes the important health issue because of the high prevalence use medicine analysis needs to be done to measure whether a drug has been used rationally. This research aims to know the description of the quantity of use the most widely used drug suffers of RESPIRATORY patients hospitalization in BBKPM during year 2012 and 2013. The Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical using Method/Defined Daily Dose (ATC/DDD), is there any change in the pattern of drug use going on and compatibility with Formularium Hospital. This research using secondary data, i.e. data is taken from the patient’s medical record csrd. This research by gathering data in restropective. Data the use antbiotics and data hospitalization visits retrieved from Medical Record Instalations. All the data is further processed to find out the quantity antibiotic use in DDD/100 day care and Drug Utilization Profiles (DU 90%). The results of the research showed there are 8 types of antibiotics used in 2012 and 2013. The quantity of the drug most used is Amoxycillin. Drug usage pattern does not occur in 2012 and 2013. The types of antibiotics that suits Formularium Hospital is Amoxycillin, Ampicillin, Opimox, Amoxan, Cefotaxim, Ceftriaxon, Socef, Cefadroxyl, Ciprofloxacin, Ciprex, Levofloxacin, and Chlorampenikol.
