Abstract

Hypertension is a chronic condition in which the blood pressire in the artery wall increases. Hemorrhagic stroke is a commplication of hypertension. High blood pressure in hypertension would cause rupture of cerebral blood vessel called hemorrahagic stroke. This research will perform rationality of hypertension drug consist of right indication, right patient, right drug, and right dose. The research is descriptive and retrospective data collection. Sample of this research is a hypertensive patiens with hemorrahagic stroke hospitalized at RSUD A.W. Sjahranie Samarinda 2015 – 2016 with the inclusion criteria. The result is the most widely used as antihypertensive of CCB group is amlodipine 2015 (43,93%) and (41,17%) in 2016. The usuitable drug of suitability hypertensive drug for FRS 2015 – 2016 were micardis and ramipril. According JNC VII that unsuitable is nicardipine HCl and JNC VIII that captropil is not suitable dosage and at 2016, the unsuitable to guideline JNC VII and JNC VIII is nicardipin HCl. Rationality of drug therapy by JNC VII at 2015 is precise right indication, right patient, right drug 100%, right dose 89,4% and by JNC VIII right indication, right patient, right drug 100%, right dose 78,79%. Rationality of drug therapy by JNC VII and JNC VIII at 2016 is precise right indication, right patient, right drug 100%, right dose 80,40%.
