Abstract
Curcuma mangga contains flavonoids, saponins and tannins. The purpose of this research is to know the ability of stocks curcuma mangga cream extract inventiveness in curing infection with Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and knowing the effective concentration of the ethanol extract of the curcuma mangga cream preparations appointment mangga in curing infection with Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923. The extraction is done by the nethod of maceration using solvent ethanol 70%. Curcuma mangga extract cream formula inventiveness made with three concentrations of 5%, 10% and 15%. The parameters of the curcuma mangga extract cream observd were the concentration and time of storage for 4 weeks. Observation on the healing time is done by observing the length of healing skin infections on the rabbit’s back after administering ethanol extract cream curcuma mangga, marked by loss of erythema, udem and pus. The data obtained were analyzed with ANOVA one way (significant p<0,05). The result of this study showed that the ethanol extract of the curcuma mangga has the effectiveness in healing a bacterial infection Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923.Curcuma mangga extract cream with concentration of 15% has the most effective antibacterial activity.
