Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is metabolic disease in mark with a rise in blood sugar concentration continuous perennials having the character of teratology because fat metabolism, in protein and carbohydrates. The purpose of this research as analyze the effectivity of type II diabetes mellitus in patient medical treatment who uses metformin and glibenclamide at RSUD sukoharjo 2016. This research was conducted using method CEA (Cost-effectiveness Analysis). This research is descriptive such date is retrospective. This study were analyze using secondary data of diabetes mellitus type II on Januari- Desember 2016. Sample for the research in patients diabetes mellitus type II who underwent inpatient at RSUD sukoharjo 2016 which fulfilled the criteria inclusion. The research results show that metformin more cost-effectiveness of glibenclamide is viewed from its effectivity therapy the use of metformin of 78,12 % and glibenclamide of 72,73 % and total cost of metformin use Rp. 3.555.458,8 and glibenclamide Rp. 4.730.478,8 for treatment of type II diabetes mellitus in patients at RSUD sukoharjo 2016.
