Abstract

Preeclampsia is one of the main causes of maternal mortality in Indonesia. Approximately 10-15% of pregnancies with preeclampsia contribute substantially to neonatal and maternal morbidity and mortality. Selection of drugs during pregnancy should consider the benefit and risk ratio for both mother and fetus. A pharmacist in relation to pharmaceutical care to reduce the incidence of false drugs, excessive doses and less doses, needs to be done research on various drug problems (DRPs). This study aims to determine the description of the incidence of Drug Related Problems (DRPs) in patients with preeclampsia and to know the relationship between the incidence of DRPs with clinical outcome of patients with preeclampsia who underwent treatment at Inpatient Installation RSUD Dr. Moewardi in 2016. This research is non experimental research with descriptive approach. Retrospective data retrieval. The subjects of this study were pre-eclampsia patients who underwent treatment at Inpatient Installation of RSUD Dr. Moewardi in 2016 and meet the criteria. Analyzed using the JNC 7 reference standard and the National Guidelines for Medical Services, Diagnosis and Prevention of Preeclampsia by POGI 2016. The sample in this study were 131 patients who met the inclusion criteria. Patients with pre-eclampsia were most likely to receive MgSO4 therapy in 127 patients (96.95%) and Nifedipine (61 patients (46.56%). It can be concluded that the incidence of DRPs is too high (1.96%) and drug interactions (98.04%).Based on result of chi-square method correlation analysis can be concluded there is no significant correlation between incidence of DRPs with clinical outcome of patient preeclampsia.
