Abstract

Soursop and purple plant swhich are used as traditional medicine. Soursop leaves and purple leaves contain alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and saponins whichhave antibacterial activity on the combination of ethanolic extract of soursop leaf and purple leaves on Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923. The extraction was done by maceration method used 96% of ethanol solvent. The extract was made with 3 comparisons (ethanolic extract of soursop leaf : purple leaf ethanol extract ) as1:1, 1:3, 3:1. The result of extraction then was testedfor antibacterial activity testby using dilution method with concentration of 50%; 25%; 12,5%; 6,25%; 3,12%; 1,56%; 0,39%; 0,19%; 0,09%. Positive controlsused bacterial suspension and negative control used stockof extract solution. The result of the dilution method test was the combination of ethanolic extract of soursop and purple leaf ratio of 1:1 had the best inhibitory effect against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 on25the Kill Minimum concentration from combination of ethanolic extract of soursop leaf and purple leaf is antagonistic because it has a very different of KBMresult with a single extract.
