Abstract
The hospital is one of the health service providers. In the hospital there are several components of supporters such as laboratory institutions that work with high risk and workload, thus allowing the occurrence of work stress due to job demands that are too large. Among the factors that cause work stress are internal and external factors, which come from internal factors such as adversity quotient. This study aims to determine the influence of adversity quotient with stress work on the laboratory of RSUD Dr. Moewardi. The sampling technique used in this study is the total sampling or sampling saturated with the number of samples taken in 40 laboratory employe. Data collection in this study using questionnaire. Data analysis method used in this research is quantitative analysis which is measured by simple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 17 for windows. The results showed that the variables adversity quotient significantly influence the stress of work on the laboratory institution in RSUD Dr. Moewardi with significance value P = 0,000 (<0.005). Result of correlation analysis (r) show 47,5% work stress at laboratory institution at RSUD Dr. Moewardi is influenced by adversity quotient, while 62.5% is determined by other factors. Keywords: Work stress, adversity quotient, laboratory institution in RSUD Dr. Moewardi.
