Abstract

Trikomoniasis is a protozoan that attacked the bottom traktus urogentialis men and women caused by Trichomonas vaginalis. In women of the disease can occur directly and indirectly. Transmission can occur through sexual contact or using of public facilities that less clean sanitation. This infection can attack the vagina’s wall and urethra in women. Mojogedang is a district in the Karanganyar, which previously had been going on cases of trichomoniasis. Educational background of the leucorrhea in health centers in Mojogedang diatrict, the majority of education that lacks understanding how to maintain the cleanliness of the reproductive organs. The study aims to find the prevalence oof trichomoniasis in Mojogedang district. This type of research is descriptive. The sample is vaginal secret of leucorrhea patients in Mojogedang district. The results obtained from 64 samples secret the vagina is taken from patients with vaginal discharge in the Mojogedang district obtained the results of 21 samples positive (33%) and 43 of the negative (67%). Kata Kunci : Trichomonas vaginalis, vaginal secret, leucorrhea
