Abstract

Treatment of tuberculosis requires intensive management and require patient compliance so that treatment can be successful. Insuitability choice of TB drug based on standard treatment can lead to treatment failure and recurrence. The purpose of this study was to determine the treatment pattern of tuberculosis inpatient in Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta in 2014-2015 and suitability of the anti-tuberculosis usage with hospital formulary Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta and PDPI. The research was non-experimental descriptively. Data collection was condected retrospectively in 2014-2015 from medical record. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the suitability of antituberculosis drug administration based on hospital formulary Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta and PDPI. The results showed that antituberculosis usage of single dosage (generic) for category 1 was 80 patients (83,33%), while category 2 was 16 patients (16,67%). Suitability of antituberculosis based on hospital formulary in 20142015 and PDPI for category 1 was 54 patients (56,25%) while category 2 was 24 patients (25%). Insuitabibility treatment of category 1 was 5 patients (5,20%) and category 2 was 13 patients (13,54%). Keywords: tuberculosis, antituberculosis, formulary Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta, PDPI
