Abstract

Hypertension was an increase in blood pressure exceed normal person. Hypertension was 10 biggest disease in RSUD Ambarawa 2016. Use of antihypertension drug, if only the efficacy of therapy considered regardless of it was effectiveness, the operational costs hospitals were not effective. The purpose of this study was to analyzed the cost effectiveness of treatment in patients with hypertension used candesartan-amlodipin and candesartan-diltiazem. Methods this study was a cross sectional using secondary data on January-December 2016 period about the treatment of 71 patients with hypertension. The data include demographic data, length of stay, and total cost. A total of 39 patients used candesartan-amlodipin and 32 patients used candesartan-diltiazem. Statistical analysis used independent t-test. The result showed that antihypertension drug candesartan-amlodipin was more cost effective than candesartan-diltiazem with presentase of effectiveness 76,92 % and 65,63 %, ACER value IDR and 30.076,38, ICER value IDR . So, candesartan-amlodipin was more cost effective than candesartan-diltiazem. Keyword : Cost Effectiveness analysis, antihypertension, candesartan-amlodipin, candesartan-diltiazem, hypertension
