Abstract
Tonic is a substance or mixture of substances that can enhance or additional power or energy on. Tonics used to stimulate and strengthen all systems and organs and cells stimulated improvement in muscle tone. One is a red ginger and citronella. This study aims to determine the tonic effect of the preparation and the combination of single teabag red ginger and citronella and know the single dosage and combination of red ginger and lemon grass that gives a delicious taste. Preparations teabag red ginger and citronella tested tonic effect with Exhaus Natatory method. This study was conducted using 37 male mice. Divided into six groups each consisting of 5 mice. Group I: negative control, Group II: red ginger tea bag given at a dose of 6,24mg / 20gBB mice, group III, IV, V given teabag combination of red ginger and citronella dose of 6,24mg / BB 20g mice with a ratio of 75%:25%, 50%:50a%, 25%:75, the group VI awarded the dye citronella single dosage with a dose of 6,24mg / 20gBB mice. And group VII: positive control. Observation of results was done by looking at the difference of tired time before being treated and after being treated in animal test, the data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA and for the taste sense perception test result from the questionnaire which was filled by 30 respondents. The results showed that all groups were given single teabag treatment dosage and combination of red ginger and citronella have a tonic effect on male mice. Preparations teabag which has a tonic effect most is perfomed single red ginger tea bag with a dose of 6,24mg / 20gBB mice With tired time of 19.78 minutes and teabag preparations that gave the respondents a taste of 50% of the result was a combination of red ginger and lemongrass 100%: 0%, 75%: 25%, 25%: 75 % And 0%: 100%.
