Abstract
Hypertension is a condition in which systolic blood pressure ≥ 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≥ 90 mmHg, Hypertension is a syndrome or set of progressive cardiovascular symptoms as a result of other conditions that are complex and interconnected. This study aims to determine the drug interaction on hypertension patients that are hospitalized in RSUD Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri Tahun 2017. This study is descriptive with retrospective retrieval data. The population of this study are patients with hypertension who see treatment in the inpatient installation of RSUD Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri 2017. The sample of this study was patients who had treatment and met the inclusion criteria. Research result shows that the drug interaction found in 49 patients (85,96%) with 100 cases of drug interaction condition. The most interaction type is moderate category of 66 cases (66%). The most interaction is between amlodipine with norages of 25 cases (25%). The most mechanism of interaction is pharmacokinetic of 89 cases (89%).
