Abstract
Meloksikam a the antiinflamasi much used in the treatment of arthritis, osteoarthritis and joint disease. Meloksikam is very difficult water soluble (0,009 mg / ml 250C), making self nano emulsifying drug delivery systems (SNEDDS) to improve solubility. The purpose of this research know the influence of quaternary tween 60 and tween 80 against solubility meloksikam, characteristic formulations SNEDDS meloksikam which includes emulsification time, % transmitan and drugloading and get a formula steady in terms of characteristic SNEDDS. Screening tween 60 and tween 80 to understand quaternary greater dissolving meloksikam. Making use of SNEDDS emulsion, formula SNEEDS meloksikam with simplex lattice design, formula steady with the program experts 7.1.5 design. Critical parameters of the research is emulsification time, % transmitan and drug loading. Analysis of data using one sample t test. Tween 60 unable to dissolve meloksikam greater than 80 tween, 14 formula SNEDDS meloksikam using simplex lattice design having characteristics drug loading parameters of 2,16 ppm - 87,90ppm, parameter % transmitan of 20,81 % - 78,55 % and parameter emulsification time 32,67 seconds - 120,33 seconds, optimize SNEDDS meloksikam the proportion of olive oil : tween 60 : PEG 400 (1,6: 3,2: 5,2). Keyword : SNEDDS, meloksikam, tween 60, tween 80, simplex lattice design.
