Abstract

Drug management is one aspect of the management of the Health Department is important because due to bad management will have a negative impact on service quality. This study aims to determine the management of antituberculosis drug of storage and distribution in Sukoharjo’s Public Health Service based on Kemenkes RI standards so it can be made as a basis for evaluation for drug management to improve the quality of services. This research was non experimental research with descriptive research design. Data were collected retrospectively at Pharmacy Departement of Sukoharjo’s Public Health Service in the form of secondary data. Secondary data were obtained by tracking documents in 2016. The data were taken then analyzed according to indicators from the Ministry of Health. The results showed that the management of anti tuberculosis drug in storage of Pharmacy Departement of Sukoharjo’s Public Health Service were the percentage and the value of the drugs were damaged or expired 2.86% with a value of Rp13.419.060,00. And the research results of distribution of drug availability level is 100%, the accuracy of drug distribution is 75%, the percentage deviation of the distributed drug amount is 0%, the median time of the drug vacancy is 0%. The storage of medicines in Pharmacy Installation Sukoharjo Public Health Service has not in accordance with the Ministry of Health RI standards. While the distribution activities are in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Health RI. Keywords: drug management, storage, distribution, evaluation
