Abstract
Analgesic is a substance can reduce or relieve pain without removing awareness. The research aimed to understand analgesic activity, determine doses effective extract ethanol orange purut leaves, and the result of method tail flick and sigmund. Leaves orange purut extracted with the methods maserasi use ethanol 70 %. Twenty-five mice white male were divided into five groups. Group I (CMC Na), Group II (tramadol and acid mefenamat), group III, IV, and V given extract ethanol orange purut leaves doses 77; 154, and 308 mg/20g BB. The measurement of a method of tail flick by means of measuring time reaction after 30 minutes of medicine giving orally. Stimulation pain method sigmund by means of induction acetic acid. The number of wriggling is in response pain every 30 minutes after induction. The data collected were analysed use anova one direction. The research results show that extracts ethanol orange purut leaves doses 77 , 154, and 308 mg/20g BB having activity analgesic with the methods tail flick and sigmund. 308 doses mg/20g BB have activity analgesic the most effective to the method tail flick and sigmund.
