Abstract
Gastritis is an inflammation of the mucosal and submucosal gastric. If this disease is left, it will damage the function of the gastric and increase the risk of gastric cancer which will cause death. The purpose of this study to know patterns of drug use in patients gastritis in inpatient instalation of RSUD Sukoharjo in 2015. Data analysis in this study using non-experimental descriptive analysis and retrospective data collection. Criteria samples taken are patients with diagnosis of gastritis that is not acompained morbidities. The results showed, classes and types of drugs used for therapeutic treatment in patients gastritis in Inpatient Instalation of RSUD Sukoharjo in 2015 is class of PPI, H2RA, antacids, PMD, penicillin, cephalosporins, fluoroquinolone, macrolides and nitroimidazole. The type of the drug used was omeprazole, ranitidine, sucralfate, amoxicillin, ampicillin, cefazolin, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, azitromycin and metronidazole. Combination of class and type of drug that is widely used is a combination of 3 drugs from the class PPI + H2RA + PMD consisting of omeprazole + ranitidine + sucralfate. The use of the drug in patients gastritis is compatible with Hospital Formulary, Standards of Medical Care at 100% and Gastritis, National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse at 33,33%.
