Abstract

Fisetin (3,3 ', 4 '-tetrahydroxyflavon .7) is potentially a flavonol molecules as bioactif antiallergy, anticancer, and a bitter taste. Fisetin classified into biopharmaceutical classifications system (BCS) class II. Drugs including the BCS class II have high permeability but lower solubility, so that fisetin can be made in solid dispersion system to enhance solubility and rate better dissolution takes. The research aims to know the dispersion system fisetin can be made solid, type and concentration of the polymer dispersion of solid results, and characterization of the solid dispersion fisetin produced. This research uses a polymer (poloxamer 188, PVA, PEG 4000, PVP, and PEG 6000) using the method of evaporation of solvent. Dispersion of solid solubility test done, fisetin test better dissolution takes and characterization of morphology, functional analysis, and crystallinity. Solubility test and test better dissolution takes next performed data analysis. The results showed that fisetin solid dispersion systems can be made with solvent evaporation method using polymers poloxamer 188 is able to increase the solubility of 6.7 times and rate better dissolution takes 15 % compared pure fisetin. Characterization of solid dispersion fisetin shows no occurrence of chemical interaction on FT-IR test, drop test in the crystal lattice and DSC, XRD and changes of the morphology of the surface area of fisetin on SEM test.
