This research aimed to know the effectiveness expense between ciprofloxacin and ceftriaxone injection that were used in urinary tract infection treatment in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. The research was done by urinary tract infection patient retrospectively with kind of cost like BPJS grade III from January-December 2015. The research used economic CEA/Cost Effectiveness Analysis. Data that used in this research were demography, length of stay and total expense of terapy based on direct medic. The result shown injection of ceftriaxone more effective with the percentage 82.61% than ciprofloxacin injection with the percentage 76.47%. There were differences average total cost of treatment between the two group therapy with values probability 0,010 < 0,05. Value ACER (Average CostEffectiveness Ratio) ceftriaxone lower at Rp. 704.264,00 compared with ciprofloxacin Rp. 969.903,00 so the injection of ceftriaxone therapy group has more cost-effective.
