Abstract
Studies conducted Pharmacoeconomics is Cost Effectiveness Analysis (CEA) or cost-effectiveness analysis is a method of economic evaluation that can be used for decision making in choosing the best alternative from several alternatives exist. The purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of therapy, the average total cost, and cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) between the injection of cefazolin and goforan in surgical patients close distal radius fractures in RS. Ortophedi Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta. This study was an observational study using cross-sectional design with a sample of 30 patients with distal radius fracture surgical inpatient antibiotics cefazolin injection and 10 patients surgery of the distal radius fracture hospitalizations using injection goforan Orthopaedic Hospital Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta 2015. The data obtained shows the percentage of patients achieving a therapeutic target cefazolin 70% with an average total cost of Rp. 2,339,171, while the treatment group goforan obtained percentage of patients achieving a therapeutic target which was 70% with an average total cost of Rp. 2460833. So the value of ACER in the treatment group was lower than cefazolin therapy group goforan was Rp. 3,341,672 which means that therapy with cefazolin more cost-effective compared goforan therapy in patients with distal radius fractures close in inpatient at Orthopaedic Hospital Prof Dr. R.
