Abstract

Gastroenteritis is inflammation of gastroduodenal bottom by various pathological condition of gastrointestinal with a manifestation diarrhea, Accompanied vomiting, discomfort abdomen. Gastroenteritis top 10 a disease in RSUD Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo period 2017, need to the accuracy of therapy to reduce number in pain. Evaluate use of antibiotic gastroenteritis aims to ensure use of remedies which rational patients gastroenteritis. Research aims to obtain rationality use of antibiotic drugs gastroenteritis patients geriatric at RSUD Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo period 2017. This research is research non experimental shaped retrospective done through record medical patients who underwent gastroenteritis geriatric patient period 2017 at RSUD Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo. The study is done by evaluating rasionality use of antibiotic drugs gastroenteritis geriatric based on right indications of, right medicine, right doses, and appropriate manner a gift. The research results show the use of a drug gastroenteritis geriatric Amoxicillin 1,85 %, Cefotaxime 33,34%, Ceftriaxone 25,94%, Cotrimoxazole 3,70% dan Metronidazole 5,55%. Evaluation rationality the use of a drug gastroenteritis geriatric as follows right drug 74,07 %, proper medicine, 64,81% proper indication, 75,93% proper dose and right the way of 100 % according to (WGO 2012 ) Keyword: Gastroenteritis, evaluation of medicine, geriatric
