Abstract
Bronchitis is an inflammation of the area trakheobronkhial and classified as acute and chronic bronchitis. The use of generic antibiotics most widely used is the antibiotic ceftriaxone and X patents. The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of generic antibiotic ceftriaxone and X patent used in disease under the ISPbA-bronchitis hospitalized patients without comorbidities at RSUD Dr. Moewardi in 2014. This study uses secondary data from medical records of patients hospitalized ISPbA-bronchitis without comorbidities. Results of a study is 74 patients ISPbA-bronchitis with generic antibiotics ceftriaxone and 68 patients ISPbA-bronchitis with antibiotics X patent in inpatient RSUD Dr. Moewardi retrospectively. The results obtained were analyzed descriptively and using Independent t-test. The results showed that there is a difference between a generic antibiotic Ceftriaxone and X patent the disease under the ISPbA-bronchitis hospitalized patients without comorbidities at RSUD Dr. Moewardi in 2014 which has been demonstrated by using statistical test of Independent sample t-test with significant results because the probability of 0,000 viewed from a long day clinical improvement includes LOS length of stay, lower fevers, and decreased leukocyte numbers by comparison X patent antibiotic efficacy that is more effectively used than the generic antibiotic ceftriaxone.
