Abstract

Dukuseeds (Lansium DomesticumCorrea) is a benefitcial plant, including as an alternative insecticide which contains alkaloid, saponin, flavonoid, and triterpenoid. The purpose of this study was to discover the activity of ethanol extract, n-hexane fraction, ethyl acetate fraction and water fraction duku seeds (Lansium domesticum Correa) as Anopheles aconitus mosquito larvicide, expressed inLC50andknowingthe test preparationare most active. Duku seeds powder was remacerated 3 timer, each maceration lasted 3 days, using 96% ethanol solvent, and then fractionated using n-hexane solvent, ethyl acetat solvent and water. There ware 8 treatment group which were five group concentration series (125µm/ml, 250µm/ml, 500µm/ml, 1000µm/ml, 1500µm/ml) and positive control (ABATE1G®), negative control (tween 80 1% solvent and distilled water), normal control (distilled water). Each was put inti a test glasswhich contains 25 larvae of Anopheles aconitusmosquito larvae for 24 hours, and then dead larvae were counted. The test was conducted 3 times. Each concentration was determined by probit analysis method. The data was analyzed by ANOVA statistical test. The result of this study showed that ethanol extract and duku seeds (Lansium domesticum Correa) n-hexane fraction had most active with LC50 values of 241,2436µg/ml and 249,4235 µg/ml, compared with ethyl acetat fraction and water fraction with LC50 values of 278,5528µg/ml and 747,2454 µg/ml.
