Abstract
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacillus. Management which substandard will result in treatment failure, continuous transmission of tuberculosis germs to family members and other community members as well as cause drug resistance or known case of Multi Drug Resistant – Tuberculosis (MDR-TB). This study was aimed to analyze the MDR-TB incidence among TB patients in Inpatient Department Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta in 2013 and 2014. This research was descriptive study with data collection retrospectively in MDR-TB patient at Inpatient Department Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta in 2013 and 2014. Data taken were age, gender, type of financing, lenght of stay, home state of patient and cormobidity. Antituberculosis drug usage in MDR-TB patient adjusted its usage by hospital formulary and guideline Kemenkes. The results indicate that antituberculosis drug which cause MDR-TB were combination of rifampicin + isoniazid; combination of rifampicin + isoniazid + ethambutol; combination of rifampicin + isoniazid + streptomycin and combination of rifampicin + isoniazid + ethambutol + streptomycin. Percentage of MDR-TB incidence in tuberculosis patient in 2013 as 43.24%, whereas in 2014 as 57.48%. MDR-TB incidence was greatest in 2014 with percentage 57.48%. conformity of antituberculosis drug usage with Formulary and Guideline Kemenkes was 100%. Kata Kunci: Multi Drug Resistant, tuberculosis
