Abstract
Lansium plant is one species of Meliaceae part containing compounds suspected triterpenoid potential as larvicides. This study aims to determine the value of LC50 of n-hexane fraction fruit peel ethanol extracts lansium (Lansium domesticum Correa) against mosquito larvae Aedes aegypti. Fruit peel powder lansium macerated with ethanol 70% and continued fractionation with n-hexane. Test samples were made in 5 series, namely the concentracition of 125 ppm, 250 ppm, 500 ppm, 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm to Abate 1G® 0,01% positive control and negative control DMSO distiled plus. Larvicidal activity represented by calculating the value of LC50. The result showed that the fraction of n-hexane ethanol extract of the fruit peel lansium in various concentrations have larvicidal activity. The greater the concetracition of the test solution, the number of dead larvae more. LC50 calculation results showed that the fraction of n-hexane ethanol extract of the fruit peel lansium has an average value of 270,887 pm LC50.
