Abstract

Traditional medicine is an ingredient or ingredients in the form of plant material, animal material, mineral materials, preparation sarian (galenic) or mixtures of these materials that have historically been used for treatment, and can be applied in accordance with the norms prevailing in society. The purpose of the study to determine the content of dexamethasone and paracetamol in 20 samples of herbal powder and liquid in the market in Sukoharjo, to determine levels of paracetamol in herbal medicine samples stiff form of powder and liquid, to determine levels of dexamethasone in the samples of herbs and heal rheumatic form of powder and liquid Tests performed on Analysis of Paracetamol and Dexamethasone in Jamu Pegel Linu Moving in Sukoharjo, qualitative testing using Thin Layer Chromatography method and quantitative method for testing densitometry. Based on the research results can be proved that the samples Jamu Pegel Linu Moving in Sukoharjo not contain Paracetamol Medicinal Chemicals and Dexamethasone.
