Abstract

Intestinal nematode is nematode that habitated in intestine of human and animal. Human is a hospes of several Intestinal nematode, among them are Ascaris lumbricoides, Necator americanus, Ancylostoma duodenale, and Trichuris trichiura. Group of Elementary School student is an age group that is susceptible to worm infections. It is caused by playing habit of children who do not pay attention to personal hygiene and the environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage students of Elementary School 02 Pilangrejo, Juwangi, Boyolali which in the feces found intestinal nematode egg. Specimens used in this study was the children feces of 20 specimens taken from students of Elementary School 02 Pilangrejo, Juwangi, District of Boyolali. The study was conducted in Parasitology Laboratory, Setia Budi University. Feces used for the study was in time feces from students of Elementary School 02, Pilangrejo, Juwangi, District of Boyolali, which has been added 0.9% NaCl solution and examined by direct examination. The test results showed from 20 samples of feces were examined directly with Eosin 2% solution in Students of Elementary School 02 Pilangrejo, Juwangi, District of Boyolali showed that no feces samples were contaminated egg or larvae of intestinal nematode (0%).
