Purpose of this research is to find out whether jamu pegal linu contaminated by xerophilic fungi and knowing xerophilic fungi species that found in jamu pegal linu. Existence of xerophilic fungi on samples could be done with isolation on medium Dichloran 18% Glycerol. Jamu pegal linu samples that been used are 3 brandless samples and 3 branded samples. Isolation fungi made with spread method and scratch method. Sample jamu pegal linu contaminated by xerophilic fungi. Xerophilic fungi species that been found in jamu pegal linu are Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus tamarii, Cladosporium cladosporioides, Eurotium amstelodami, Scopulariopsis sp., and Aspergillus nidulans.
