Abstract

The prevalence of worm infection in Indonesia is still very high. The cause of intestinal worm infection which are Ascaris lumbricoides and Hookworm (Necator americanus, Ancylostoma duodenale). Ngroto village is the village predominantly work as farmers. Habits of farmers who do not use footwear when farming and lack of knowledge about the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene allows the worm infection. The purpose of this study is to find the presence / absence and what percentage of the results of Ascaris lumbricoides and Hookworm eggs in the feces Ngroto farmers in the District of Cepu Blora. This research was conducted on December 29, 2015. This type of research is the observation by a random system. The method used method directly by using eosin 2%. Results of research conducted in the stool Ngroto farmer in the village, District Cepu, Blora obtained 3 positive samples (17.65 %) of eggs infected with Hookworm, 14 negative samples (82.35 %) which is not infected with the worm eggs. Examination of Ascaris lumbricoides eggs on all samples negative result (0%). Keywords: Feces, eggs, Ascaris lumbricoides, hookworm, farmers
