Abstract
Hepatitis B is an infectious disease of the liver (hepatic / liver) which is caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV) and is one of the commonest diseases and infectious. The average prevalence of hepatitis B in Indonesia 10%. Variation ranged from 3.4 to 20.3% in each region. Indonesia is endemic Hepatitis B, and then every citizen who will be traveling out of the country must examine Hepatitis B. Citizens who frequently travel abroad one of them is the Indonesian Manpower, a condition set by the labor department that prospective workers must carry out medical checkups to ensure that potential workers is a healthy one examination Hepatitis B. Immunological examination performed to detect hepatitis B among HBsAg examination to determine the presence or absence of viral antigen. The purpose of this inspection was to determine the prevalence of hepatitis B infection in prospective migrants in East Jakarta Clinic in December 2015. Data collection was performed at the Laboratory of Clinical Immunoserologi Haninah, Cawang, East Jakarta on June 1 to December 31, 2015. The data 790 Indonesian worker candidates who check HBsAg in December 2015 indicates a reactive result by 9 (1.14%). Indonesian Workers female candidates are reactive for HBsAg as many as 6 people (0.76%), while prospective Indonesian Workers as many men as 3 (0.38%).
