Abstract
Hypertension is a condition where the systolic blood pressure is greater than or equal to 140 mmHg or diastolic bllod pressure is greater than or equal to 90 mmHg. Hypertension is a medical problem at Karanganyar society with prevalence that increasing straightly. Hypertension are the risk factor for many disease, so safety treatment hopefully can decrease count of patient morbidity and mortality of hypertension. This study aims to see about antihypertensive drugs in RSUD Karanganyar inpatient ward at 2016, by reviewing the drug interaction. The study is descriptive with retrospective data collection. Population study is all hypertensive patients who underwent treatment at inpatient installation of RSUD Karanganyar at 2016. The sample is hypertensive patients who underwent treatment at Inpatient Installation of RSUD Karanganyar who include to the inclusion criteria. The results showed that there were drug interactions that find were 85 cases (70,83%) with total incident of drug interactions were 208. Incident of interaction that involving antihypertensive drugs was 155 cases (74,52%). The most incidents of drug interactions was interaction between amlodipin with santagesik were 20 cases (9,62%), the most interactions category that happen were moderate, there were 161 interactions (77,40%), the most mechanisms that happen were pharmacochinetic, there were 166 cases (79 ,81%).
