Abstract

Nifedipin is a remedy cardiovascular diseases to the time the beak 2 to 4 hours and terabsorbsi almost perfect in the stomach so diformulasi in preparation gastroretentive with the system floating.Research aims to understand the influence of HPMC K15M to the quality of physical tablet floating nifedipin and he knows concentration HPMC K15M that can produce tablet floatingnifedipin with the quality of physical the best. Making tablet floating nifedipin uses the method granulation wet by concentration of the HPMC K15M, 60 mg, 80 mg, 100 mg.Testing to granule alir covering time, angles shut up and keel drying.Testing to tablet covering uniformity tablet weight, vulnerability tablet, violence tablet, floating lag time, floating time and swelling index.The resulting data were statistically analyzed by One Way ANOVA with significance level of 95%. The results of research shows that the increase in HPMC K15M influential on the increase in violent tablets , swelling index tablets and influential lowering time alir, floating lag time tablets and brittleness tablets. Formula III with concentration 100 mg HPMC K15M Produce a tablet floating with violence high , vulnerability that low and floating lag time that short compared to Formula I and Formula II.
