Abstract
Kelor seed oil ( moringa seed oil ) is a natural vegetable oil derived from the juice of kelor seed kernel. Kelor seed oil is not only used to help treat , but also for the care and beauty of the skin. In this research, manufacture microemulsion of oil in water ( O / W ) using kelor seed oil as the oil phase as well as a active ingredient, Kolliphor® EL as surfactant and PEG 400 as cosurfactant. Physical stability test conducted on preparations include organoleptic tests, density, viscosity, centrifugation and globule size . Kelor seed oil microemulsion colored clear and smelled like kelor seeds. Formula is best obtained with a concentration of 4 % kelor seed oil, Kolliphor® EL 15 %, 5 % PEG 400, and aqua demineralisata 76 %. Density, viscosity, and successive globule size is 1,010 gr/ml, 1.11 cPs, and 155.6 nm. Keywords: Microemulsion, Kelor Seed Oil, Kolliphor® EL, PEG 400
