Abstract
A clinical Pathology Laboratory service is one of services in the hospital which need special attention regarding K3RS. Moreover, this area has a high risk for accidents. Workers who work in Clinical Pathology Laboratory must always learn and detect any possible risks arising out of the workplace accidents, must constantly increase the awareness and discipline of regulations to minimize the risk. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between behavior (knowledge, attitudes, action) with accidents in the Laboratory of Clinical Pathology at RSUD Waled Cirebon and to analyze the relationship between occupational health and safety management (monitoring, K3 promotion, training, reporting) with accidents in the Laboratory of Clinical Pathology at RSUD Waled Cirebon. This research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional survey design, sample in this study were 20 workers of Clinical Pathology Laboratory at RSUD Waled Cirebon. The data analysis was done by using univariate, bivariate analysis with chi square test and multivariat analysis. Based on the results of variables knowledge, attitudes, actions, promotion and training K3 has a value of p <0.05, which means that behavior (knowledge, attitudes, actions) has significant relationship with accidents in the Laboratory of Clinical Pathology at RSUD Waled Cirebon and occupational health and safety management (K3 promotion and training) also has significant relationship toward the accidents in the Laboratory of Clinical Pathology at RSUD Waled Cirebon. Meanwhile, statistical test of monitoring and reporting could not be done since those activities are never done at the Laboratory of Clinical Pathology at RSUD Waled Cirebon.
