Abstract
According to regulation of health minister No. 129 / Menkes / SK / II / 2008 on minimum service standards hospital for blood and blood laboratory service routine, execution ekspertisi Clinical Pathology is a medical specialist, the absence of fault giving the results of laboratory tests are 100% whereas for customer satisfaction must more than 80%. Patient satisfaction will be achieved when the laboratory's performance in line with expectations of patients. Test results can not be removed just like that without good cooperation from the team which certainly has a good work ethic. The work ethic is an outlook and attitude of a nation or people to work. It takes also the awareness of the laboratory pesonel to improve his work ethic so that a sense of trust of the patient to the quality of the laboratory services can be achieved. This study aims to determine the relationship work ethic technical laboratory to patient satisfaction. This research is a correlation study with cross sectional approach is the study of data dependent and independent variables at the same time. Work ethic measurement technical laboratory and patient satisfaction conducted by dividing the questionnaire to the research subjects. The study of 100 respondents after Spearman correlation test results obtained rxy: 0.347, p: 0.000 (p <0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a very strong significant correlation between technical laboratory work ethic to patient satisfaction. Satisfaction outpatients at Clinical Pathology Laboratory Hospital Dr. Moewardi can be explained by factors work ethic laboratory personnel by 20.4%, while 79.6% are influenced by other factors.
