Abstract

One of laboratories quality control program is an internal quality assurance (PMI). Internal quality assurance is a prevention and surveillance activities carried out by each laboratory regularly to obtain precise and accurate results. Examination method of creatinine serum dosage is carried out in Clinical Pathology Installation of RSUD Dr. Moewardi is done by using Jaffe and enzymatic aminoantipyrin phenol (PAP). The objective of the research was to analyze the results of internal quality assurance of Jaffe and enzymatic PAP creatinine examination method at Clinical Pathology Installation of RSUD Dr. Moewardi. This research used descriptive research design with cross sectional approach. The analysis of observational data of the internal quality assurance result of Jaffe kinetic and enzymatic PAP creatinine examination method was conducted over 6 months start from December 2014 to May 2015. Data analysis of Jaffe kinetic and enzymatic PAP creatinine examination method of daily QC was done by using Levey Jennings. The Levey Jennings chart of control serum was then evaluated by using Westgard Multirules Quality Control. The result of the study shows that the imprecision of Jaffe method was lower than enzymatic PAP method. The inaccuracy of Jaffe and enzymatic PAP methods are equally low and the number of enzymatic method errors based on Westgard Multirules was commonly found in the category of rejection and warning meanwhile (13s, 22s, R4s, 41s, dan 10x) , the Jaffe method error found was in the category of alert rules (12s). Suggestions for further research that further research should be conducted to analyze the results of quality assurance Jaffe and enzymatic creatinine examination methods with more data.
