Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is a chronic infectious disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis and it is a contagious disease. One of the TB disease management is by taking oral anti tuberculosis (OAT), TB treatment is given in two stages, namely intensive and continuation phases. Anti-tuberculosis drugs that given to patients with TB have some side effects. Treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis in a certain period of time can cause side effects either mild or severe. This study aimed to see if OAT have an impact on levels of serum glutamic-oxsaloacetat enzyme transaminase (SGOT) and serum glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. This research is explanatif with a total sample of 43 samples taken from patients with multi-drug resistant TB (MDR-TB) who came for treatment at the Regional Dr. Moewardi General Hospital Surakarta, and examined using a spectrophotometer. Data SGOT and SGPT examination results are presented in tabular form and then analyzed using linear regression test. Based on the test results of the descriptive, it seems the average examination results SGOT 22.47 U / L and ALT: 13.53 U / L were all in keaadaan normal (<40 U / L). To see the effect, then tested the linear regression and obtained t value for AST test results are 0.486 <t table (5.733) with a significance level of 0.629> 0.05, and t value for ALT test results are 1.062 <t table (5.733 ) with a significance level of 0.294> 0.05, it can be concluded that the H0 and H1 accepted, or anti-tuberculosis drugs (OAT) has no effect on the results of AST and ALT in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Keywords: Tuberculosis, Drug antituberculosis (OAT), AST and ALT.
