Abstract

Application in Theory of Planned Behavior Formation of Patient Safety Behavior on RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Final Project, Management Departement Faculty of Economics. Universitas Setia Budi. Advisor Didik Setyawan, SE., MM., Co Advisor Ir. Rudy Januar, MT. Research onpatient safetyremains acriticaldiscussioninhealth careresearch. Where patient safety is an important component in public health services. The goal isto establish apattern of behaviorof nursesinpatient safetyatPKU Muhammadiyah Hospital. The basis ofthisusing the Theory of Planned Behavior developed by Ajzen(1991). This study used quantitative research methods that examine cause and effect of each variable in the model of Theory of Planned Behavior. Placein this research isin the hospital PKU Muhammadiyah. The size of the sample was 120 respondents. In the hypothesis testing using Structural Equation Modeling analysis. Results of data processing, the results obtained can be summarized asfollows: The existence of a significant effect of perceived behavioral control(PBC) with actual behavior(P). No significant effect of attitude(S) with the in tention to behave (N), there was no signifi cant effect of subjective norm(NS) with the intention to behave (N), there was no significant effect of perceived behavioral control(PBC) with the intention to behave (N) and not Ad significant influence intention to behave(N) with actual behavioral (P).
