Abstract
Comparison of Financial Performance Before And After Acquisition (Studies in the acquirer Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2007-2010). Final Project. S1 Accounting Study Program. Faculty Of Economics. University Setia Budi. Supervisor I. Widi Hariyanti, SE., M.Sc. Supervisor II. Dian Indriana Hapsari, SE., M.Sc., Ak. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences between the company's financial performance before and after the acquisition of the acquirer. Financial performance is measured using financial ratios are: Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Debt To Assets Ratio (DAR), Rerurn on Assets ratio (ROA), and Earning Per Share (EPS). This study uses secondary data as many as 23 companies that make acquisitions in the year 2007-2010 are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. The analytical method used is the analysis of ratios and different test by using analytical tools Paired Sample T Test. From the results of this study indicate that the penguiian to Current Ratio,Total Assets Turnover, and Debt to Total Assets Ratio indicates that there is a difference in the period of one year before and four years after the acquisition. While Rerurn On Assets Ratio and Earning Per Share did not show any difference in the period of one year before and four years after the acquisition.
