Abstract

CV. Dermavous Laboratories is cosmetic manufacturer company, which produce various products, with similiar production process flow for each of it product. So Far the layout and material flow still based on the utilization of the existing space and not yet based on the standard method. The purpose of this research is to make new facility layout design in order to be able to serve potensial markets. Facility layout design is implemented to all departements in the factory, this design based on Computerized Relationship Layout Planning (CORELAP) methode. The selection methode are based on Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), Total Closeness Rating (TCR) value and Western Edge methode of approach. Based on Corelap methode calculation, we got proposal lay out designs which are meet the need of the floor area and production capacity design, that give lay out design based on the closeness of each departement.
