Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine effect emotional intelligence on employee performance of non-medical personnel at hospital.Management of human resources is still the main focus in an institution. This study will examine the behavior of employee of non-medical personnel at RSUD Dr. Moewardi. Data Collection Techniques used in this study isusing a questionnare. The statistical test used Stuctural Equation Modelling (SEM) using software AMOS version 22. The results of this study are: there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of emotional intelligence on the performance shown by the significance value of *** (α = 0.05), there is a positive and significant influence between the variables eustress on the performance indicated by among the variables distress to the performance shown by the significance value of 0.008 (α = 0.05), there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of emotional intelligence to eustress shown with significant value *** (α = 0.05), there is a negative influence and significant correlation between variables distress to emotional intelligence indicated the significance value of 0.021 (α = 0.05), eustress variables do not mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence on the performance indicated by value of β indirect of 0.050058 smaller than the value of β directly amounting to 0.998; distress variables did not mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence on the performance indicated by the value of β indirectly of -0.05555 less than the value of β directly by 0.998.
