Abstract
Hospital is health care facility purposed to provide qualify health service to society. This service is pharmaceutical care, one of its important cycle in pharmaceutical care is distribution. Drug distribution in dr. R. Soedjati Hopital Purwodadi Grobogan is crucial because emphasize the optimization of drug delivery to patient at the same time maximizing potential revenue for hospital. The purpose of this study was determine efficiency of drug management at distribution in dr. R. Soedjati Hospital Purwodadi Grobogan. This study was descriptive analytic to evaluate drug management at distribution in dr. R. Soedjati Hospital Purwodadi Grobogan. Data obtained retrospectively and analyzed using several indicators i.e. accuracy of total drugs data in stock card; inventory turnover ratio; system of warehouse arrangement; percentage and value of expired and or damaged drug; percentage of dead stock; and percentage of drug availability. The result shows that drug management at distribution in dr. R. Soedjati Hospital Purwodadi Grobogan were: accuracy of total drugs data in stock card was 17,43%, not efficient; inventrory turnover ratio was 0.83 times, not efficient; the system of warehouse arrangement already use FEFO and FIFO systems, efficient; percentage and value of expired and or damaged drug was 0.56%, not efficient; percentage of dead stock was 1.57% not efficient; percentage of drug availability was 30 months, not efficient.
