Abstract

Health supplements drink is a drink which contained one or more substances nutrition. Nutrients contained are vitamin, mineral, amino acids, or core material derived from plants or not from plants, which useful for complementary needs of substances nutriens and helping maintain health. One of vitamin which contained in supplements drink is vitamin C. Vitamin C in health supplements drink have a function as an antioxidant which help ward free radical. The purpose of research to determine level vitamin C in a health supplements drink packaging sachet with UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The samples which used was health supplements drink in a sachet packaging. Determination vitamin C level performed using UV-Vis spectrophotometer with aquades solvent, on wavelenght 264,8 nm The results from the samples is positive contained vitamin C. The level of sample A in amount is 1453,33 mg/200 ml, sample B is 1566,67 mg/200 ml, and sample C is 873,33 mg/200 ml. Vitamin C level in accordance with the daily nutritional adequacy rate is sample C is <1000. Keywords: Health supplement drink, vitamin C, UV-Vis spectrophotometry.
