In this research aims to make antiinflammatory cream formulations that are practical, convenient and effective antiinflammatory effect and determine the effective concentration as antinflamasi. Saffron and ginger rhizome are extracted by maceration method using ethanol 96%, extract formulated into a cream with three variations of dosage 4%, 5% and 6%. Cream property test is carried out for the yielded cream to find out the cream physical quality, then it’s tested to tester animals to see the effect of the inflammation resistance. The data are analyzed by kolmogorov smirnov analyses, continued with anova test one step later Tukey test by significance (p 0,05). The Results of this study is a combination of extracts of turmeric (Curcuma domesticae Val.) And extract of ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) Can be formed in perfomed cream. Cream combination extracts of saffron (Curcuma domesticae Val.) And extract of ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc) have antiinflammatory effects. Cream extract of saffron (Curcuma domesticae Val.)
