Abstract
One of the health centers in Karanganyar is Mojogedang 1 health center is a public service that serves to build the first public health that needs to get attention with the quality of optimal health service. Because there is only 1 server at the registration counter that causes a lot of queue at the counter. After the patient is served at the patient registration counter, the patient will switch to the intended poly. Uneven arrival rate and level of patient care will result in long queues at registration booths, general poly, pharmacy and cashier. Therefore the role modeling of a queue system that is supported with one of the computer applications is very important. An application that can be used to model queuing systems is Software Production Modeler (ProModel). ProModel is used because it can present the most appropriate combination in modeling all conditions. This study aims to model the current queue to see queuing system performance and design new queue system improvement alternatives. Based on a simulation with ProModel characteristics of community health center patients mojogedang 1 is the average time each patient had to wait in the system 55.65 minutes, average waiting time is at 35.65 minutes, and the queuing system that existed at the puskesmas mojogedang 1 has not been good. Of the 10 proposed scenarios, the best suggestion is scenario 4 to reduce patient waiting time by adding 1 server to registration, 0 servers on general poly, and 2 servers to pharmacy and cashier. The result of scenario 4 has the smallest waiting time of 3.85 minutes, with server utilities at 66.57% Registration, General Poly 56.76%, and on Pharmacy and Cashier 28.22%.
