Abstract

Hospital is one of the health service providers which must be in accordance with the standardization of hoaspital buidings, where medical support also includes clinical pathology laboratory. Clinical pathology laboratories that are not in accordance with guideline standards are not very ergonomic, thus disrupting the effectiveness of officers. Through evaluation of good spatial design is expected to be in accordance with the standards of good clinical laboratory implementation. This study aimed for evaluate pathology clinical spatial deisgn Surakarta Regional General Hospital in 2017. This research is descriptive research conducted at Surakarta Regional General Hospital using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. The data obtained were processed using standard of Good Clinical Laboratory Implementation Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2013. Based on the research we concluded that the spatial design, laboratory instruments layout, medical laboratory thecnologist, and patient service flow in the clinical pathology laboratory are in accordance with the Standars of Good Clinical Laboratory Implementation Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2013.
