Abstract

Stroke is nerve function disorder caused by interruption of blood flow in brain, where the treatment of this disease requires considerable cost. In effort to handle that, the government implemented health insurance program by provide financing facilities of stroke treatment set out in INA-CBG's cost. The purpose of this study was to determine treatment pattern of non-hemorrhagic stroke, correlation between real cost to INA-CBG's cost, and factors affecting the real cost. This research type was observational analytic using cross sectional study design according to hospital perspective, data collection method was done retrospectively from heatlh insurance claim file. Data analysis using descriptive analysis to describe patient characteristic and real cost. Analysis of cost compliance using one-sample t-test method. Analysis of factors affecting using multivariate correlation. The results shown that treatment pattern were Aspilet (73.72%) and Citicoline (13.14%). Average cost of treatment for severity I Rp. 4,404,381,- severity II Rp. 5,582,028,- and severity III Rp. 7,702,037,-. There was different in cost difference based on severity II treatment class 1 (p = 0.008), and severity II treatment class 3 (p = 0.007). Factors that affect were LOS (p = 0.000), treatment class (p = 0.008), and severity (p=0,035). Keywords: non-hemorrhagic stroke, compliance cost, real cost, INA-CBG's
