Abstract

The availability of drugs play an important role in the era of National Health Insurance (NHI) enacted in health care facility one of which a hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the availability of drugs in the era NHI and the factors that affect the availability of drugs in regional general hospitals Undata Palu This research was conducted with descriptive associative method, to determine the relationship between physician factors, factors pharmacy personnel, and patient factors as the independent variables on the availability of the drug as a dependent variable. Subjects were doctors with 38 respondents, 45 respondents pharmacy staff and patients 230 respondents. The sampling method is nonrandom purposive sampling type. The instrument used for measurement data acquisition using a structured questionnaire. Analysis of data using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the availability of medicines to meet the standards of efficiency with the inventory level for 12,49 months. Factors that affect the availability of drugs that doctors with a value of R 0.778 at significant level 0.000, pharmacy personnel with the value of R 0.619 at significant level of 0.000 and patients with the R value 0.653 at significant level 0,000 Keywords: National Health Insurance (NHI), availability of drugs, physicians’s factor, pharmacy personnel’s factor, patients’s factor
