Abstract

Pediculus humanus capitis is a blood-sucking obligatory ectoparasite. Pediculosis diseases are often be ignored, especially in countries where other health priorities are more serious, as they are considered less important. Higher interactions among school-age children are higher. Pediculus humanus capitis transmission easier to move from one host to another. Pediculosis attacks all classes and all social levels. This research uses cross sectional approach technique which previously conducted counseling about Pediculus humanus capitis. Sampling is done by sampling saturation that is sample determination technique if all member of population used as sample. Examination using the method of examination directly by using serit comb. Based on the results of research positive samples obtained from Sri Juwita Hanum Surakarta kindergarten are 6 students with 12% percentage and Aisyiah Macanan Kebakkramat kindergarten get positive results are 15 students with 12.2%.
