Abstract

Water is a very basic requirement for human life, if the water needs both in terms of quantity and quality has not been fulfilled it will have an impact on health. Clean water service in Indonesia is still concentrated in urban areas. Areas that have not received PAM water generally use well water for their daily needs. This study aims to determine the water content of weels with Atom Absorption Spektrophotometric method. The water of this weel is obtained by means of direct retrieval through the faucet and then the sample is prepared using labides and concentrated HNO3. Determination of the water content of this well was conducted qualitatively by using reagents H2SO4, K2CrO4, K4(Fe(CN)6, and quantitatively with Atomatic Absorption Spectrofotometry using CaCO3 and aquabidest. The result of this well water content in samples A1, A2, A3, were 582,00 ppm ;646,45 ppm; 790,30 ppm. Based on PERMENKES RI Number 32 Year 2017 that this well water is not feasible for consumption because it exceeds the limit, its normal level is 500 ppm.
